Slovakia will supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with Soviet MiG-29 fighters.
The information was shared by Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger. Information about the transfer of the aircraft appeared last year, but the Slovak Cabinet of Ministers approved the delivery only now. A total of 13 aircraft will be delivered to Ukraine. There is no information on when the deliveries will begin. By the way, in addition to Slovakia, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will also receive MiG-29s from Poland. The first batch will be delivered to Ukraine in the coming days.

The MiG-29 is a fourth-generation Soviet multi-role fighter aircraft. It was the main multi-role fighter of the Warsaw Pact and the USSR during the 1980s. Today, the MiG-29 is in service in many countries around the world, including Ukraine. It has more than 15 modifications.
