SpaceX launches two communication satellites into orbit during the 84th mission in 2023 (video)

On November 12, 2023, SpaceX launched the SES O3b mPOWER mission, which launched two communications satellites into Medium Earth Orbit (MEO), Space reports.

A Falcon 9 rocket carrying the satellites was launched from the Cape Canaveral Spaceport in Florida at 23:08 Kyiv time.

The first stage of the Falcon 9 returned to Earth and landed on the A Shortfall of Gravitas drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean about 8.5 minutes after launch.

Two hours after the launch, the upper stage of the rocket launched the first of the two satellites into medium Earth orbit (MEO) at an altitude of approximately 8 thousand meters. km. After another 7 minutes, the second satellite was launched.

The six-satellite constellation is expected to provide high-speed connectivity to a variety of customers in the public and private sectors by the end of 2023.

The SES O3b mPOWER mission was SpaceX’s 84th launch this year.
