“Tank Killer, as it were: India is preparing to premiere the TITAN robotic platform
Gridbots Technologies, a company operating in the Indian market, is preparing to premiere the TITAN robotic platform. It is positioned as a “killer” of tanks. The company claims that the Amogha-III ATGM robot is capable of detecting and destroying tanks in an autonomous mode.
According to the Bulgarian Military, the robotic platform will soon take part in the Indian army’s exercises. The time and place of the meetings are kept secret.
The robot weighs 2 tons. The Amogha-III ATGM mounted on it was designed by Bharat Dynamics Limited. It provides the TITAN with impressive power. The anti-tank missile system belongs to the “fire and forget” class of weapons. Operator intervention is minimal. The missile’s twin armor-piercing warhead is capable of penetrating any armor hidden behind dynamic protection.

Despite its tracked chassis, the TITAN robot is capable of reaching speeds of up to 20 km/h. It is characterized by excellent cross-country ability. The declared load capacity of the platform is 1.5 tons. Communication between the operator and the robot is provided at a distance of up to 20 km. This allows TITAN to be used for intelligence gathering.
