The Hero-90 kamikaze drone with a 1.5 kg ammunition is capable of destroying infantry and armored vehicles at a distance of up to 40 km
The Israeli company UVision has announced the production of new Hero-90 kamikaze drones, a mid-range model with a range of up to 40 km.
The Hero-90 drone can be launched from virtually any land or sea platform with just a couple of minutes of preparation by the operator. This versatility of the launcher expands the capabilities of small tactical units operating in difficult conditions, giving them autonomy on the battlefield.
The Hero-90 is equipped with a 1.5 kg warhead, which provides significant power to effectively neutralize a wide range of threats from light vehicles to armored vehicles and battle tanks at a range of 40 km. The drone’s operating range gives operators the time they need to identify the target and plan the attack optimally.
The new kamikaze drone also supports in-mission adjustments, including stopping an attack and re-entering the battle. All of this is made possible by the state-of-the-art UVision secure fire control unit (FCU), common to all Hero drones.
