The Netherlands has reinforced the Armed Forces with “invisible” VERA-NG radars that can track 200 targets at 400 km
In 2023, the Netherlands announced that it would buy VERA-NG radar stations for Ukraine. It looks like they are already in Ukraine.
Dutch Defense Minister Kasja Ollongren has published a list of equipment transferred to Ukraine, including radars.
The Netherlands will sign a long-term security agreement with Ukraine. So we will continue our support, now and in the future. 🇺🇦’s tireless fight is crucial for security in Europe. We must continue to take a united stand against Putin’s aggression.#StandWithUkraine pic.twitter.com/DIcoG7tYKI

VERA-NG is manufactured by ERA. One system consists of three radiation signal receivers with 360-degree azimuth coverage. This radar is capable of detecting air, land and sea targets. The range is up to 400 km and the accuracy is up to 20 meters. The declared operating frequency range is from 88 MHz to 18 GHz. VERA-NG is capable of tracking up to 200 targets simultaneously. The radar operates in all weather conditions.
By the way, the Netherlands was supposed to transfer 4 such radar stations to Ukraine worth 150,000,000 euros.
