Transnistria reports drone attack on military unit (video)

The so-called “Ministry of State Security” of unrecognized Transnistria reported a drone attack on a military unit.

The press service of the so-called “Ministry of Security” of the PMR said that at 14:35 Kyiv time, a kamikaze drone allegedly attacked a military unit of the “Ministry of Defense” of the PMR in Rybnytsia district.

It is worth noting that this area is located 6 km from the Ukrainian border.

The target was a radar station, which sustained minor damage and no casualties. An investigative team is working at the scene. A criminal case has been opened,” the so-called “Ministry of Security” of the PMR said.

It is noted that an investigative team is currently working at the scene of the incident. The published photos show a small and shallow crater in the ground.

What is known about previous incidents with drones in the PMR

On March 17, an unknown attack drone allegedly attacked a military facility in unrecognized Transnistria.

A video of the “arrival” of the Mi-8 helicopter, which was stationed there, was posted online.

Russian propaganda agencies, citing the media of unrecognized Transnistria, wrote that a fire broke out on the territory of a military unit in Tiraspol as a result of an explosion.

The cause of the explosion is said to be a drone attack. The owner of the drone has not been named.

The media also disseminate a video, allegedly from the site of the explosion in a military unit in Tiraspol. It shows the remains of a helicopter.
