Ukrainian Armed Forces defeat Russian air defense positions in Donetsk region: a significant amount of equipment destroyed (video)
The strike was carried out by 5 ATACMS ballistic missiles at the Mospino airfield, the occupiers complain.
In Donetsk region, near Mospino, Russian occupants were left without air defense systems. They were destroyed as a result of a missile attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This was reported by the Russian telegram channel Dossier of a Spy.
“On May 22, 2024, at about 12:50, a missile attack was launched on air defense positions near Mospino airfield, Donetsk region. The attack was carried out using 5 ATACMS ballistic missiles,” the statement said.
After the missile attack, the Russians calculated their losses – 4 units of expensive equipment and an enemy control center were destroyed.
Losses of the Russian Armed Forces:
- Two S-300/400 SAMs were destroyed;
- One S-300/400 self-propelled missile launcher was damaged;
- The 96L6E radar was destroyed;
- The control center of the S-300/400 was destroyed.
It is noted that there were no casualties among the personnel as a result of the ATACMS raid.
The released footage shows burned and smashed Russian air defense systems and other damaged equipment.
