Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 710 Russian soldiers, 17 armored vehicles and 11 drones overnight
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 239,010 soldiers in the war in Ukraine. On July 17, the enemy tried to advance west of the First Liman, west of Dibrova and east of Vesele, as well as in the areas of Maryinka and near Krasnohorivka.

From February 24, 2022, to July 18, 2023, the aggressor country lost:

Ukrainian Armed Forces: 36 combat engagements took place in the frontline over the last day
The enemy army is concentrating its main efforts in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors, with 36 combat engagements taking place there over the last day. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a morning briefing on July 18.
The situation in the following areas
The situation in the Volyn and Polissya sectors remained unchanged.
The enemy maintains a military presence in the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions.
Conducted an air strike in the area of Bilopillya, Sumy region. It shelled more than 30 settlements with mortars and artillery, in particular, Chuykivka, Boyar-Lezhachi, Iskryskivka, Pavlivka in Sumy region and Vovchansk, Karaichne and Budarky in Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian troops are holding steady in the defense. The enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives west of the First Liman in the Kharkiv region.
He conducted air strikes in the areas of Kyslivka and Kotlyarivka. Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Kupiansk and Kyslivka in Kharkiv region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
On the Liman direction, Russians conducted unsuccessful offensives in the area west of Dibrova and east of Vesele in Luhansk region.
Air strikes were carried out in the areas of Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Terny and Spirne in Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Berestove and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region were shelled with artillery.
In the Bakhmut sector, under heavy fire from enemy aircraft and artillery, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled Russian army attacks in the areas of Minkivka, southeast of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, southeast of Bohdanivka and near Ivanivske in Donetsk region.
The enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Bohdanivka and Oleksandr-Shultyno. Artillery shelling affected more than 15 localities, including Kramatorsk, Kostyantynivka, Chasiv Yar, Pleshchiyivka, Oleksandr-Shultine, Pivnichne and Katerynivka in Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka sector, Ukrainian troops repelled all attacks in the area of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, under hostile fire.
At the same time, Russian soldiers shelled more than 15 localities, including Novoandriivka, Novobakhmutivka, Keramik, Avdiivka, Nevelske and Karlivka in Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully continue to hold back the offensive of the occupation forces in the areas of Mariinka and near Krasnohorivka.
The enemy fired at more than 10 localities, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Hostrye, Veselyi Hai and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarsk sector, the enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Makarivka, Blahodatne, Novodarivka and Komar in Donetsk region. They shelled Blahodatne, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Neskuchne, Novodarivka and Rivne in Donetsk region.
On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is focusing its main efforts on preventing further advance of our troops.
Conducted an air strike near Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region. It shelled more than 30 localities, including Vilne Pole and Vremivka in Donetsk region; Zaliznychne, Verkhnya Tersa, Hulyaypilske, Preobrazhenka and Bilohirya in Zaporizhzhia region; Mykhailivka, Novoberislav, Mykilske, Inzhenerne, Kizomys in Kherson region and the city of Kherson. Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, was also affected.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk sectors, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery operations.
The invaders carried out more than 40 air strikes and about 60 attacks with MLRS in Ukraine
Thus, the enemy launched 5 missile strikes from the S-300 air defense system, more than 40 air strikes and fired about 60 missile attacks from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in deaths and injuries among children and civilians, and have destroyed residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.
Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy two “Solntsepyoks”, 27 artillery pieces at firing positions and an ammunition depot
Over the past day, the aviation of the defense forces conducted 11 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment.
Ukrainian servicemen also destroyed 3 enemy attack UAVs of Shahed-136 type and 6 reconnaissance UAVs of operational and tactical level.
