Ukrainian drones ELF Systems learned to overcome S-300 air defense systems (video)

The production of drones that are “invisible” to Russian electronic warfare has been set up in Kharkiv region. Volodymyr Varvarsky, who is the head of ELF Systems, told ICTV about this.

The top manager emphasized that the first model of the drone was made by members of the ELF Systems team out of cardboard. The UAV had rather primitive equipment. The drone had its baptism of fire two months after the start of the invasion.

Currently, drones manufactured by ELF Systems are actively used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine along the entire contact line, from Kherson to Bakhmut. They were used to destroy Russian S-300 air defense systems, electronic warfare stations and ammunition arsenals. Currently, the company’s engineers are developing a breakthrough system. It will allow drones to conduct combat operations in conjunction. Army units moving on the ground will be able to interact with aircraft in the sky.

The carrying capacity of the kamikaze drone is 2.5 kg. It can accelerate to 200 km/h. Such UAVs work in tandem with reconnaissance drones. After a kamikaze drone attack, the reconnaissance drone returns to base. It does this independently by coordinates.
