Starting January 1, 2024, the cost of public services provided by the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will increase tenfold in Ukraine. These include car registration and driving license exams.
The relevant resolution was adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on December 27 this year. According to the law, in less than a week, those wishing to obtain a driver’s license will have to pay UAH 230 instead of UAH 26.
The theoretical exam will cost UAH 250 (previously UAH 13) and the practical exam will cost UAH 420 (previously UAH 13).
The cost of registration and re-registration of wheeled vehicles of all categories with the issuance of a registration certificate will also change. Starting January 1, you will have to pay 350 hryvnias instead of 200.
It is worth noting that this price does not include license plates and a plastic form of the technical passport. You will have to pay 111-350 and 450 hryvnias for them, respectively.
