An American billionaire who is the richest man in the world has placed an order for a G700 business jet. The cost is $78 million. It is likely to replace the current Gulfstream G650ER aircraft with a ‘mileage’ of more than 240,000 km.
It is expected that Elon Musk will receive a business jet at his disposal in early 2023. However, delivery may be delayed by 3-6 months due to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reviewing the software.

The maximum take-off weight of the G700 is almost 50,000 kg. The business jet has a cabin of 17.35 x 2.49 x 1.91 meters and accommodates up to 19 passengers.
