EOS Technologie launches Veloce 330, a supersonic strike drone
France-based EOS Technologie has introduced a new Veloce 330 barrage munition. The jet drone has successfully completed flight tests, reaching speeds of over 400 km/h – covering 50 km in just 16 minutes, using only half of the fuel tank.
The Veloce 330 is designed for a flight duration of three hours. The drone uses vertical takeoff and landing technology and is equipped with a main generating charge to counter active defense. A GPS-independent and interference-resistant navigation system developed by TRAAK is also integrated.
In addition to its attack capabilities, Veloce 330 can perform reconnaissance missions thanks to its optoelectronic sphere, which can detect vehicles up to 15 km away from the drone.
The drone is designed in such a way that human intervention remains a central element of the operational decision-making cycle. The development marks a significant step for the French defense industry, demonstrating its commitment to innovative and autonomous solutions in the field of remotely guided munitions.
