Google Maps has updated routes and emoji reactions
Google has updated its Maps navigation application, including updated public transportation routes, emoji reactions, and shared lists for friends, Speka media reports citing TheVerge.
Google Maps will offer different routes depending on what the user prefers according to such parameters as:
- The best route;
- Fewer transfers;
- Walk less;
- Available for wheelchair;
- The lowest cost.
The app will also display entrances and exits from stations so that the user does not get on the wrong train or subway.
Another new feature is shared lists. Users can create lists with friends or family that allow them to share different routes using emoji reactions.
In addition, users can now respond to photos and reviews from other users using emojis from Google Emoji Kitchen.
