Guinness World Record: A man from Romania has collected the world’s largest collection of mobile phones

Romanian Andrei Bilbi Argentis broke the record of the previous collector from Turkey, Ekrem Karagudekoglu, who collected 2,779 cell phones.

Andrew Bilby Argentis has assembled a collection of 3,456 cell phones, setting a new world record, according to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Andriy also owns several thousand duplicates that were not included in the record number. He started collecting phones in 2018.

The photo shows the room where Andriy collects phones. Two walls facing each other are completely covered with cell phones, and if you zoom in on the photo, you can see several Motorola Razr V3s in different colors. On the wall to the left of the photo, the second shelf seems to contain some of the newest Pixel phones, and on the ninth shelf of the same wall, some older iPhone models can be seen.
