HIMARS can strike enemy targets in Crimea and at sea

Military facilities in the occupied Crimea and ships of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia are one of the targets of Ukraine, which must be hit by American rocket systems of salvo fire. Today, Crimea is a Russian hub for the transfer of all equipment and weapons. This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Vadym Skybytskyi, on July 16 during a telethon.

He answered the question whether Ukraine can use the HIMARS and MLRS M270 systems for strikes on the territory of Crimea.

‘Currently, the Crimean Peninsula has become a hub for the movement of all equipment and weapons that go from Russia to the southern regions of our country. So, first of all, the accumulation of military equipment, ammunition and other materials, which are concentrated in Crimea, and then go to ensure the Russian occupation troops,’ – the intelligence representative informed.

Russia actively uses the Black Sea Fleet for missile strikes on Ukraine. First of all, the invaders use Calibers, frigates, small missile ships and submarines. They are constantly on combat duty, wait for commands, and then launch.

‘Therefore, this is also one of the targets that must be hit in order to maintain the safety of our citizens, our facilities, and Ukraine in general,’ – said Skibytskyi.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine is negotiating with Western partners regarding the supply of F-15, F-16 or F-18 fighters at all levels of government.
