Ukraine’s Defense Forces show on video how MAGURA maritime attack drones hunt Russian ships in the Black Sea
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published a video of marine drones. The footage demonstrates the operation of MAGURA drones.
What is known
The video shows unmanned boats attacking Russian naval vessels. In particular, in the first days of this month. The video also shows the combat work of drones in the first half of 2023.
Despite the fact that MAGURA boats were officially presented a few weeks ago, the Ukrainian Defense Forces used them last year. For example, at the end of October, a drone hit the new Russian flagship Admiral Makarov.
MAGURA is 5.5 meters long and 1.5 meters wide. The marine drone is capable of reaching speeds of over 75 km/h and carrying up to 320 kg of payload. The maximum range of the drone is over 800 km.
