Reconstruction of the crossing began in June this year
On September 30, the Degtyarivskyi Bridge collapsed in Kyiv. All the installed girders fell down. This was reported on social media.
Photos of the aftermath of the collapse are posted on social media. There was no information about the victims. The Kyiv City State Administration commented on the situation with the bridge.
Local Telegram channels also showed photos before and after the spans fell. It is not known for certain what exactly caused the collapse.
Recall that in June this year, the reconstruction of the Degtyarevsky overpass began. The Degtyarivskyi Bridge was closed for repairs. The work was expected to last until November 30. As part of the reconstruction, the building is to be completely replaced.
