The “weak point” of the Lancet attack drone is revealed
Russian propagandists showed a video on the production of Lancets. It demonstrates the process of assembling barrage ammunition in a closed shopping center.
The video turned out to be quite resonant because of the scale of the assembly. As it turned out later, the Russians used mirrors to make a truly spectacular report. It proved useful for the Ukrainian military.
In the video, the propagandists accidentally revealed the drone’s “weakness”. Earlier, they claimed that the barrage munition is capable of finding targets on the battlefield on its own. The report stated that Supercam reconnaissance drones are used to target Lancets. Both aircraft are manufactured by Kalashnikov.
The propaganda video claims that Russian engineers have managed to create a new version of a strike UAV. They called it “Product 53”. The new version of the Lancet is a drone with folding wings that uses a transport and launch container to launch it. To demonstrate the capabilities of the aircraft, Russian weapon makers used animation, which may indicate that the information they provided was unreliable.
