A large-scale fire broke out at the port in the Russian city of Novorossiysk. Russian media report that pallets are burning in the cargo terminal. This was reported by Kuban 24.
“Pallets are burning in the eastern district of Novorossiysk. Firefighters are already at the scene,” the statement said.
It is noted that the fire covered an area of 1300 square meters. Forty-two firefighters are fighting the fire.
Local telegram channels also informed about the fire in the pallets.
Instead, local residents watching the fire from their apartments say they hear explosions.
“Something is exploding,” a resident of Novorossiysk comments on the video.
The large-scale fire in the port city was seen in neighboring settlements. Residents of Kabardinka, located 20 kilometers from Novorossiysk, noticed smoke rising in the sky.
