Massive fire breaks out in Tesla dealership during rocket attack on Kyiv – media (video)

A massive rocket attack on Kyiv on January 2 damaged two car dealerships, one of which sells Tesla electric cars. The impact could have damaged cars.

This is stated in the story of the Kyiv24 channel.

The exact location of the car dealership is not disclosed, but it is known that one of the Tesla showrooms is located in the Obolon district of the capital. This is not an official showroom of the American manufacturer, as the Tesla brand is not represented in Ukraine.

In addition, fuel tanks near the car dealership caught fire. The fire is causing heavy smoke in Kyiv, so residents are advised to stay indoors, close windows and drink plenty of water if possible.

It should be noted that electric vehicle fires are very difficult to extinguish, as lithium-ion batteries release huge amounts of oxygen during combustion, which raises the temperature of the flame to about 2500 degrees Celsius. Extinguishing an electric car requires a huge amount of water and, as a rule, cars burn out completely and cannot be restored.
