iPhone 15 has passed the trial production stage

Apple has given an order to the management of the Foxconn enterprise to start ‘trial assembly’ of the iPhone 15 and to introduce a NIP (new product, – ed.) for the device. The last of the mentioned processes is designed to acquaint the plant staff with the specific design of the device and outline production needs, Gizmochina clarifies.

These measures precede the launch of devices into mass production. This time, the implementation of NIP started earlier than usual due to the transfer of part of the assembly capacity from China to India.

The upcoming iPhone 15 series will have four models – the basic model of the same name, along with the 15 Plus/15 Pro/15 Ultra versions (the latter will replace the Pro Max version and become the brand’s top offering).

According to the currently available information, the iPhone 15 Ultra will “grow” with a titanium frame and a solid-state tactile volume control button instead of physical buttons, as well as a USB-C port with a higher data transfer rate.

All ‘fifteens’ are equipped with a dynamic island, unlike the iPhone 14 series, where only the Pro models had a new front panel. It is expected that all representatives of the family will receive a 48-MP sensor of the main camera and USB-C ports.
