“Will save millions”: The Ministry of Digital Transformation and Palantir develop an AI assistant for the government

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced cooperation with the American company Palantir Technologies in developing a “virtual assistant for the government.” According to him, this AI technology will help make effective management decisions and save the state millions.

Fedorov wrote about this in his Telegram channel. “The product is actually an advanced data analyst. It structures and analyzes a lot of data, and then turns it into understandable information for ministries, government agencies and communities,” the minister said.

The technology can find out in a few seconds how many Ukrainian schools have been destroyed, what is needed to restore them, how many mined areas are mined, how much will be spent on demining, etc.

“The system provides comprehensive analytics and visualization, generating text, reports, and applications. Previously, data analysts used to spend up to several days on this,” says Mikhail Fedorov.

Palantir is an American company headquartered in Denver, Colorado, that specializes in big data analytics. It was founded by Peter Thiel, Nathan Gettings, Joe Lonsdale, Stephen Cohen and Alex Karp in 2003.
