Rocket attack on Ukraine: footage of a missile strike on a Kyiv high-rise building is posted online

On the night of Friday, December 29, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. In particular, there were explosions in Kyiv in the morning.

“Explosions in Kyiv. Air defense is working. Stay in shelters,” he wrote.

After 7:50, repeated explosions occurred in the capital. The mayor of the capital said that “air defense is working intensively” in the city.

Debris was recorded falling in Podilskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts,” KIAA said; Preliminarily, there is a fire in a residential multi-storey building. Information is being updated.

According to Klitschko, a warehouse is on fire in Podil district. All services are in place.

KIAA reported that according to preliminary information, there are wounded in the capital.

“In Podilskyi district, two men were treated on the spot by medics. One victim was hospitalized in Sviatoshynskyi district and two – in Shevchenkivskyi district,” he wrote.

Kyiv has already been on air alert three times during the night. The Ukrainian Air Force warned of the threat of a missile strike.

The footage of the shooting in Kyiv appeared in the capital’s public media.

Later, the mayor of the capital noted that the explosion damaged the building of the Lukyanivska metro station.

“Currently, 7 people are hospitalized in the capital, 5 of them in Shevchenkivskyi district. Doctors are working at the scene,” said Vitali Klitschko.

It is also known that about three people are under the rubble of a warehouse damaged by rocket fragments in Shevchenkivskyi district. Three people have already been taken out. The search and rescue operation is ongoing.
